What?
An interactive data grid that summarizes the statuses of programs or initiatives that are important to your organization's strategy and operations. Note: The content of the data grid could be on any type of programs or initatives, but in this release we have focused on control programs that contribute to strengthening an organization's overall digital posture. Read about how we classify controls and why managing them are important to any digital business.
Why?
The consolidated view of programs and controls makes the relationship between them clear-- it shows the 'why' for each tactical control and their placement in the organization's strategy. The colored squares (which can be customized) make it easy to see the status of the control programs for each phase (which can also be customized) in a single view, which helps with tracking, identifying blockers and isolating issues in operational progress. The control program status report provides a single point of truth of all programs owned by different teams and departments. This reduces time spent on meetings, manual updates and inaccurate or inconsistent data.
How?
Upload your internal program details to the hm.works app and the controls required to achieve the programs' objectives. Alternatively, let the Human Managed platform map recommend controls to each program and tune them as you go.

Here are some of our favourite ways to explore the control program status data quickly:
group by program
This view is particularly useful to see the relationship between each strategic program and tactical controls.
group by phase
This view is particularly useful for evaluating overall status and progress of programs per phase, and deciding on actions to be prioritized.
For example, if a lot of controls are green in 'configured' but red in 'monitored', a decision can be made to allocate more time and investment into the organization's data monitoring capabilities.
